Alan Barnes is a prolific international performer, composer, arranger, bandleader and touring soloist, best known for his work on clarinet, alto and baritone sax. He has received over 25 British Jazz Awards and has twice been named BBC Jazz Musician of the Year. His session credits include Björk, Bryan Ferry, Jools Holland and Jamie Cullum, and he is renowned as much for his wit as his musicianship.
